Man, I haven't been to Disney since I was a teenager!!! We can't WAIT to take Connor for the first time, probably this coming year now that we're FL residents. I think we will also get yearly passes either next year or the year after. The Magic Kingdom definitely rates in the top....but I always enjoyed Epcot. For me, personally, I can not WAIT to visit Harry Potter world!!!

Any Disney experts here? Where would we find things like Lightening McQueen/Cars & Toy Story stuff? Universal Studios? I know Connor will LOVE meeting all of the characters, but other than that, he's still pretty young to do much of anything else. He loves the zoo though, so we may take him to the Animal Kingdom as well.....sorry I totally hijacked your thread, Kimberly!

Brianne - here are the list of what we have done.

Animal Kingdom Lodge - gorgeous. When you walk on the property it is amazing. There is the scent of a fire going. The everything The con is that the property is a distance from the parks (other than AK) so there is a longer ride. It is pricey. If you are off enjoying the park all day, it is not worth the price. The pro are the activities they have at the resort for everyone. You need to devote time to the hotel.

Port Orleans - French Quarter. Not the closest to the park and not the furthest. Rooms are nice. The pool has a slide. French Quarter is not as large as Riverside. The price is higher than value resorts and not as high as the deluxe.

Pop Century. This is a value resort. My kids love it. Very kid oriented. Kids love the cafeteria here. Several pools (no slide). Although crowded, there are additional buses to take care of everyone. If you are going to the park all day, I would stay at Pop Century. Kids love it and the price is right.

Caribbean Beach Resort - we did this for the pirate room. Let me tell you - the pirate rooms are the furthest away from the cafeteria. What a walk to get a cup of coffee. I did not care for this place.

I am looking into the Art of Animation. It is a value resort although the prices seem high.

Never been to Disney, and probably never would. I can't imagine what it would cost for us to all go!
