Not very honestly. I feel like a single mom. But maybe as she gets older...

I've just accepted it.

He was helpful when he was off work, now not so much. But it's ok because I'm still off work!

DH is very helpful! Since he can't breast feed he helps around the house, with the other kids and changes her during the night so I get a break. I'll miss him when he goes back to work on Wed

Mine went back to work right away so I got used to being with the baby.
He helps with stocking the fridge, preparing meals and keeping the house clean.
He does watch her when I need to shower or do something otherwise he can't really help with breastfeeding or calming her the way I do when she gets fussy.

Helpful! Ivy is pretty high needs and always wants to be held. It's so hard to get anything done when hubbie is at work. Hubbie holds her a lot on his days off, especially allowing me to nap. He still changes diapers in the middle of the night on work nights.

He is very helpful! He is a pro at all things baby, always picks up the slack with our toddler, and even does dishes and laundry.

But.... I also let him sleep through the night and I get up with baby.

Very. When he's off work he does as much diaper duty as he can. When he's working I be sure and let him sleep though. He takes care of DD for bath and bed times. As soon as he's home from work he takes his cuddling time with Ben while I finish dinner.

I slept in until 10:30 on Saturday and he brought me donuts in bed. A+ for him haha

He has been getting Thomas from the crib when he wakes up so that I can go pee before feeding him. He'll hold him if he's being fussy in the evening. He helps with the other kids too. He hasn't changed a diaper for Thomas though.

DH really is great. He stayed home for a week and a half and it was great--he cooked for us, changed all his diapers, and held him when he was fussy. Now that he went back to work, he'll take him as much as he can at night and gets the older boys ready for bed. He'll also take "first shift" as we call it so I can get a good stretch of sleep, and then I'll do the rest of the night since he has to get up early. So far so good!

SUPER helpful. Really, I feel bad sometimes because he does so much around the house, helps with baby, the older two, and works long hours when he isn't working from home.
