If you have had your baby, how often have you taken them out and about? Where have they been?

I have taken Dash out a lot. I go stir crazy easily. We've been to stores, restaurants...no one's house yet. He's mostly been in his carrier or in my arms.

I took Laila to one doctor's appt and once to the store. I don't like taking newbies out very often particularly in cold weather. I am kind of going stir crazy in the house though.

We've gone lots of places! We are in Houston and it hasn't been particularly cold here so that's not really been an issue. It was really cold both times I was in the hospital but we weren't going anywhere at that point. I do keep him covered and don't let anyone touch him.

We've been to the store a couple of times, to the doc's twice, to drop off DS at school (have to go inside) and she's ridden in the car to pick up DD1 (we just have to drive up to the gate to get her, no getting out of the car, great curb-side delivery! ) We've gone to MOPS once (Mothers of Preschoolers group I go to). We're going to DS's Christmas concert tonight at his preschool and tomorrow morning, we're going to DD1's class for a Christmas brunch. Oh, and we've gone to McD's once with the others to play on their playground.

Hat's off to Vicki for my cute siggy, thank you!

Everywhere. My life hasn't really changed much by adding him along. Just takes more prep work before we leave

She has been out a couple times but not because we are trying to keep her in just because we haven't been anywhere. lol

She was at the grocery store before she was ever "home".

I've taken the twins out 4 times to the stores, and once to the pediatrician. I wasn't supposed to drive til 2 weeks after c/s, but I got stir crazy and lasted 10 days til I decided to try it out and see how I felt...didn't feel bad at all, so I went for it. While out, they stay in their stroller and I don't let anyone touch them.

It depends on the weather. I usually try and stay away from crowded stores during flu season. Or anywhere there are a big number of kids.

We have been to the doctors office, the store, my work, & the mall. That's about it so far.

Been everywhere. DH had the flu, DS and I have a nasty cold -- so anything we have Lucas will get anyway so I am not worried about germs. We've been to walmart, target, pet store, doctor, my work, the mall.

Thomas has been out just about everyday to go to the NICU and the doctor. Ashlyn just left the hospital today and has only been in the car. We've got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, but beyond that we'll be staying home as much as possible until they're 6-8 weeks old. The doctors have discouraged us from having visitors and taking them out in crowds. We're still undecided about whether we'll be attending Christmas celebrations with our families. If we do go, it will be a short stay and there will be no touching or holding. We're going to do everything we can to avoid getting them sick.

Everyday..and everywhere. I don't shy away from going anywhere and I can't sit home all the time so we go out a lot.

Not too many places yet. It is literally freezing here and I am hesitant about him getting sick with all the viruses around this time of year.

I have taken him for newborn photograph, to show him off to work, to Starbucks, the pediatrician, and to get his passport photos taken.
He's here!
