Has anyone started thinking about LO's first birthday yet? Any party or gift plans?

Haven't even thought about it. We've been too busy. It will probably just sneak up on us.

I've thought a lot about it because we will be traveling to my parents for it. Rainbow chevron is the theme.

Nope. Lily's birthday is in 3 weeks and I haven't started planning that one!

I already purchased her present We purchased outdoor furniture from Pottery Barn so I had lots of rewards that had to be used. I went to the PBK Outlet and got Ellianna the pink kitchen set (sink, fridge and stove). I have it put away for her. I will get her some play pots and pans to go with it (although she likes the plastic milk jug that we rinsed out and the egg carton - so perhaps we can recycle some things in the house for her kitchen ) I also purchased her the Bitty Baby American Girl doll when they had free shipping.

We have a nice pool so I want to have family over for a picnic. I am sure I will do something pink and frilly. I also have her dress -a pink pettidress from Rufflebutts. However, we have so many toys from the boys that I don't want people to bring her anything. I just want her to be surrounded by tons of family. (DH is the youngest of 7 children and he is 45. His parents have passed away. My nieces are also 15 and 17 - so Ellianna has no cousins her age - although she has second cousins older than her). Therefore I really just want her surrounded by as much family as possible.

I know we will be doing a Minnie Mouse theme, but other than that and a pinterest board, no other plans have been made! I know I want to get her a ride-on/walker car toy - Connor had a Lightning McQueen one that we recently got rid of, the klip klop princess castle thing, and the Disney princess little people sets.

I've been thinking about what to do for the cake since we don't want to do sugar. I think we are close to a plan!
Thank you Jaidynsmum for the beautiful siggy!
