My daughter Isabella is 9 1/2 months old and still only seems to like baby puréed foods though she started eating these Farley and Gerber puffs. We have tried on different occasions to give her soft adult food but she either spits it out or just pukes and I mean everything she ate either at lunch or breakfast. When did your babies start eating more solid food?

What kind of "soft adult food" have you been giving her?

I started DS on purees at 4 months and over the next few months I started making them thicker and adding lumpy textures in them. For example in his cereal, I'd add little pieces of banana or steamed fruit. By the time he was about 7 months, he was eating chunks of soft food like bananas, avocados, sweet potatoes, squash, steamed carrots, etc...
