they say if the yolk sac/placenta to the left it's a boy or right it's a girl something like that or vice versa.

i'm thinking and wishing team pink but if it is a boy i will be just as excited brining a new life into this world.

Here is this pregnancy at 8ish weeks. What do you think? It was abdominal.

Mommy to One I say it is a boy.....Twist I am not sure with yours....is the placenta at the bottom left or is it to the right of the baby? If it is right I would assume boy as well.

Here is mine what do you think?

It was a transvaginal at 8w

From what I read if it is a transvaginal, placenta on left is a girl and placenta on right is a boy. If it is an abdominal scan the reverse is true.

If I were to take a gander, I'd say girl. That's only if I'm understanding what I read so far.

I'm not really sure which way the placenta was. This was my u/s out in town but I think the baby is sitting right on top of it in this picture.

Add: The head is on the right though and the feet are on the left.

I was talking to the head of Ultrasound about this earlier. Lol. She says Transvaginal or abdominal does not matter, In order to determine what is left and right on an ultrasound you need to know if the image is sagittal or transverse in orientation. The angle the probe is held at determines the orientation of the images produced, so by altering the way the probe is held an image on the left anatomically can show up on the right graphically. She said without the tech who did your ultrasound to interpret the image it is virtually impossible to discern left from right.

So I'm stumped. Lol. I tried making sense of mine, but for what seemed like a pretty simple and straight forward hypothesis, I ended up way over thinking it and in the end couldn't make heads or tails of it!

That makes more sense. And the more I think of it I believe my doc said she thinks the baby implanted on the right. If she had to guess. So if that is the case then my image would be flipped and what appears on the left is actually my right. And if Ramzi is right then this will be my 5th son!! Boy or Girl I can't wait to find out!

I've never been good with ultrasounds. I can identify the baby, but the stuff around the baby is all just black mass! I'd be terrible with this test. LOL Here's a pic of my baby at 9 weeks ish. Any ideas? I think (instinct) boy!

I was going to say, it seems like that could vary based on the angle of the u/s. This is the first time I've heard of the Ramzi theory, though.

I think with mine it was on my left. Which shows up as the right in the picture bc when the dude moved the thing over my belly to my left is when baby popped up. But I have no idea for certain now since it's been so long. D: It will be fun to look at this theory later once we are starting to have our babies for team green and after gender u/s for pink and blue!

We are almost there!

No clue, but your baby is in the exact opposite position as mine! If all these theories are correct, you and I will not be having babies of the same sex.

We get our gender test results in 5 days(but who's counting).
As of now, we are planning not to look, but you never know what temptation can do...
If we do peek, I'll let you know and you can predict the opposite for yourself!

Update

Got our results early.

Decided to peek and we are team Pink.
Still have no clue on this Ramzi theory but your ultrasound is very different from mine. I'm guessing you're Team Blue. Though it will be exciting to find out for sure later on.
