Do you cook for your kiddos with allergies daily? Every other day? Weekly? I feel like I haven't been cooking enough, but my schedule has been goofy lately, so I feel justified. Usually though, we will cook a lot on Sunday-like slow cook ribs/chicken, or do a bunch of ground beef or whatever we have. That way we can just heat the meat up through the week and add the veggies/fruits. What works for you?

We cook everyday because besides Danny there are 7 people in the house. I have lived with my parents since getting divorced and we take turns cooking dinner. She watches him during the day and cooks/fixes lunch(usually a sandwich) and then we alternate other meals on a daily basis. It just works better for us to either adapt a portion of the recipe for Danny or make him something entirely different since he is the only one with any allergies.

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my GREAT siggy.

We cook daily. I've never gotten the hang of freeze ahead or cook ahead meals.

When I have time, I do some cook ahead stuff, like tomato sauce or whatever, but because of the number of allergies in our family, and the fact that at least on my side my mother has found that the more one food is fed in a week, the more sensitive we all become to said food, I really try to cycle the things we eat, which means I'm cooking pretty well every day in the hopes that cycling foods as much as possible doesn't carry on the trend in OUR family as well!

i normally cook the day of.

i did buy a lot of ground meat the other day and made hamburger patties to freeze. i just put them in the freezer and grab them out a few hours before dinnertime, so they can defrost.

Dylan loves school and anything to do with learning (counting, reading & math). This spring he started another season of soccer, as well as playing Tee Ball for the first time. He new favorite toys are Transformers & WWE Wrestling figurines. He loves to color and be artistic. He's currently finishing Kindergarten.

Delaney has eczema due to allergies. She's Egg-Free, Wheat/Gluten-Free, Peanut-Free & Citrus Fruits-Free. She's lefty and the rest of us in the house are righty. She loves Yo Gabba Gabba, Pinocchio, Princess Snow White, Aurora, Belle & Care Bears. We're currently working on potty training, but it's not going well......
