Danny has a SEVERE tree nut allergy among a gazillion other things. We are on vacation with 13 other extended family members at Disney World with a whole grocery store full of choices and what do they pick to make for dessert? Turtle brownies! I was infuriated. I told them point blank not to leave the sink when they are eating them and to wash their hands as soon as they are done. > I was soooooo mad....

Thanks .:Shortcake:. for my GREAT siggy.

It's frustrating when family doesn't take the time to understand what is going on and what exactly they need to be careful of. Sorry you are having to deal with that!

I would have been so mad! Not only because of the danger it poses for him, but because he also has to sit there and feel left out of the camaraderie and fun. That was so rude of them

I struggle with getting my family to understand how SERIOUS her allergies are. I mean, DEATH could result..by just kissing her after having eaten something she's allergic to. My dad's wife almost fed my peanut/tree nut allergy child Honey NUT cheerios. Needless to say, she doesn't stay with them alone.
