Hi! I am new here and wanted to introduce myself as I have been lurking on and off for the last few weeks. My name is Colleen - Mommy to Caden, who will be turning 1 on April 17th. I was BFing up until Caden was 8 months, which is when my first AF appeared. I went back on the BCP in Dec/Jan and recently went off of it this past month and I'm taking a stab at FAM.

I've been reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility (recommended by some of my PR Moms). Wow! There is a whole lot that I did not know, and I do feel so much more educated now.

I've been using FF to chart, but I think I read in a sticky here that FF is for TTC and not TTA. I plan on ordering the software for Ovusoft next pay day. We are currently using another barrier anyway since it's only my first month off the pill and I'm not comfortable or familiar with my cycles. In fact, everything seems all over the place from my temps to my CF, but I imagine that is due to coming of the pill. I hope anyway. I'm on CD22 and have no clue if I've already ovulated. Hopefully next month won't be as confusing.

I look forward to getting to know you

Colleen, loving mother to Caden (4yrs; 04-17-2008) and Adisyn (2yr; 01-14-2010)

Hi Colleen. Welcome to our board. You're doing the right thing by using another barrier until you feel more comfortable.

I use Ovusoft, and once you really get the hang of it, it will all make sense. If you ever have any questions, feel free to PM me.

I'm in my 25th week of preg, so I haven't charted in awhile, but I still look at charts on the Ovusoft boards so I'm trying to keep up with things.

Looking forward to getting to know you!!

Welcome, I'm just coming back to this board. I use an offline chart for most of my stuff, but use FF so I can ask questions occasionaly when TTA, so you CAN use it, but it's best not to rely on it probably...

Welcome!!!! I teach NFP IRL (Billings Ovulation Method), but I'm sure the FAM gals will be very helpful if you have any questions about that!
