I think this whole NFP and FAM is sooo neato! Learning my body is just so cool! And the help from yall is great! like since joining here i was told to chart the "sensation" of my CM and it has helped me so much! i was doing it all wrong.. well not ALL wrong, i did get pregnant when we were TTC!.. but i wasnt checking my CM the correct way and was really confused about what my body did.. and now i get it!

i did have one Q... about 2-3 days before i get my period i start getting what i would chart as watery CM.. (before that its either dry or sticky) ... is that just my bodys way of gearing up for my period??? becuz i know i am not fertile then..?

I think everyone has sort of their own pattern, and if that is your pattern that probably is exactly what it is, but I'm not the best of the ladies on here, so I'm sure somebody can come up with a better answer, lol.

Yeah, usually I have that too. Your hormones are fluctuating (estrogen vs progesterone) and it's usually a gear-up.

Just before menstruation, the mucus plug that forms in the cervix after ovulation has to liquefy and come out to make way for the bleeding. That's what the mucus before your period is all about. And yes, it's infertile if ovulation has already been confirmed that cycle.
