Hello ladies,

I'm coming on here to hopefully get some advice. I'm now going onto my 9th month of TTC our second child. Our first one was a surprise, so when we went to try for the second we thought for sure it would happen right away.
We haven't been using protection since my daughter was born in February of 2009. So for over 31 months we have been allowing this baby to happen, and I'm at a loss as to what to do.
I haven't done temping yet, but I've done OPK's and we did pre-seed this cycle.

I just want some advice on what else we can do to conceive this baby, instead of having doctor's do it for us.

Thanks so much ladies, I really appreciate it

For me temping seems to be a really good thing because it gives confirmation with the opks. Also paying attention to fertile cm.

I would have to agree that temping takes out a lot of the guess work, especially if you're using OPKs.

❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤

Some kind of charting I think might help a lot, are you doing anything other than OPKs?

Whether or not you want to temp, I think it's really important to keep track of CM - even just in a basic way. Temps won't tell you when you're fertile, they just tell you after the fact that ovulation occurred.

Keep it simple - when you feel really wet and slippery, make sure you BD while you notice that slippery feeling and for 2 days after it stops.
