I just have a quick question... I haven't been 'really charting' but this cycle I have been taking my temp. every morning...

I have never been very consistent in keeping track of my cycle, and as far as I know I have never been very regular but have never missed a period, they have just been at random times.

This month I am on day 24 and have not noticed a change in my temp. I am not doing anything else to 'chart' at this point because technically I belong in the NTNP group. Should I be worried that I'm not ovulating?

I have the book Taking Charge of your Fertility and plan on reading it more indepth. But in the mean time I'm starting to panic that I am not ovulating! Any way you can and not have your temp change?

Ovulation can occur very late in the cycle, that may be why you haven't detected a shift yet. When ovulation happens later, then your period will also come later. If you take your temp consistently at the same time every morning, then you should be able to identify it when it happens. Your temp pattern will always show a shift if ovulation has been successful.

It's way too soon to panic. Get going on your charting for a better picture of what's happening in your cycle. Give it a few cycles before you make any conclusions!
