Hi there, I am 25 years old, and have a 16 month old daughter. My husband and I practice NFP. I had a D&C after a horrible missed miscarriage and miscarriage infection. I had a period on Oct. 18th and should be ovulating right now. My husband and I had intercourse two days ago, but I was hoping that we would be able to try again this cycle, and should be peak fertility today and tomorrow, but have had absolutely no eggwhite mucus during this ovulation time. I am really very distressed. I am hoping that it could be a sign that I conceived two days ago which prevented the eggwhite discharge but imagine that that is probably not the case. Anybody experience anything similar?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

It's very normal to have some irregularity after a miscarriage. Ovulation can be delayed. Don't use your past cycles to determine when you should be fertile, go by your daily signs instead. If there has been no fertile mucus yet, then you probably haven't entered a fertile phase yet. Keep watching for it though! It can start anytime.
