I'm on my third full cycle with charting. TCOYF mentioned that the luteal phase will only vary within an individual by a day. My first two fully charted cycles had LPs of 13 and 10 days respectively. I'm on day 10 of my LP for this cycle, so we'll see with this one. Is three days too much variation? I had steroids last cycle, could that have made my LP shorter? Thanks for any input!

ETA: The steroids were for poison ivy; I'm not just casually taking them!

ETA2: The most recent cycle had an 11 day LP. That makes the 13 day LP look like the outlier. How long did everyone have to chart to get a handle on their average LP?

Possibly things like that can play with your LP. I wouldn't worry about it this early on. If it keeps varying that might be weird, but it could just be a thing that's happening as you're getting used to charting.
