I was just looking for some insight from those whoís fertility returned fairly quickly post baby while exclusively breastfeeding. With my first baby I stopped ebf altogether at 9 months because my baby self weaned and I ended up having to go to my obgyn to have him induce my first period for me after my baby was a year old so we could ttc again. I fell pregnant with my second 10 months after that initial period but my cycles only come every other month. My second is now 9 weeks old, ebf, still waking 2-3 times a night for feeds and eats about every 2-3 hours during the day, has never had formula and rarely gets a bottle. I had what I thought might have been ovulation 13 days ago, cramping with ewcm. DH and I had just happened to have unprotected sex (stupid I know but I wasnít expecting to O) 2 days before suspected ovulation. At 8-9dpo I had very very light pink spotting and Iíve had some light cramping off and on since O. Iím now 13 dpo (normally get my period at 14dpo) and Iím having super sharp pains in my right ovary and had pink spotting that was heavier than the initial pink spotting Iíd gotten last week but itís only when I wipe, not heavy at all. Anyone experience the same thing while breastfeeding? Iím just trying to figure out if itís breakthrough bleeding or what. Iím not having any symptoms so I donít think Iím pregnant. My pp bleeding stopped completely by 4 weeks so I donít think itís that

I have never been through pregnancy because my child was conceived via surrogacy in Bio tex clinic. But I think its breakthrough bleeding. Or perhaps you are pregnant again. I have an aunt who got pregnant when the child was just 3 months old. It was so unexpected. She never even anticipated of it. It just happened like in your case. So at first she was assuming the symptoms. Then later she was assured of what is really going on. So by the 6th month she hads to stop breastfeeding. She is telling me that it is not good. I really have not yet find the medical reason for that. But in your case maybe you should give it time. Wait and see what will happen next. I do hope that it is not pregannvcy. It will be too early.
