Hey ladies. I really need your help! I have no clue where to even begin(with FAM). But I do know that I am NOT going back on hormonal birth control. I just got pregnant while on the mini-pill( which I took religiously). And it ended up being ectopic. Which I read on the bcp info that it can increase the chance of. Even if that wasn't the reason, I don't think I want to take that chance! So any and all advice as where to being with FAM is very very much appreciated! TIA!!

Welcome to the NFP/FAM board!!! So sorry about your loss!

First of all, if you have serious need to avoid pregnancy - proper training in how to chart accurately and interpret your fertility for avoiding purposes is of utmost importance! You can do this by taking a class, doing an online course, meeting with an instructor privately, or doing a correspondence course. It only takes a few hours of your time and the information you'll acquire will be useful for you throughout your reproductive years! Take a moment to read through the Resource Sticky about the different systems of charting out there and you can decide on a method from there!

You can also learn by reading a book or just start charting and learn as you go! If you have any questions, you can always ask here too!
