Are there any really good computer programs out there that help you budget? Which one(s) do you use and recommended?

DH swears by Quicken. I think that is a good one to keep your check book in.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

I use Excel and just created my own spreadsheet so I could add my income and expenses myself.
