Last time was a year ago. I check it every year or so, unless we are planning for a big purchase/change.

About a month ago. I check it 3 times a year, get one free one from each agency about every 4 months. Just to make sure that nobody has "stolen" any portion of my identity, opened up anything in my name, etc.

A few years I think. Yes Dave Ramsey thinks I should have a very low credit score but I don't think this is what he had in mind...

Keep in mind all that your credit report is NOT your credit score, they are two separate things. Your credit report shows you what credit cards and loans you have open, if they are in good standing, the payments you've made, how long you've had them, if they are open or closed, etc. It does not actually contain your credit score. You get a FREE credit report from each agency once a year.
