Hi, peeps! My husband lives and works in San Francisco and just recently, our petition has been granted. So, me and my kids will soon be moving there. Currently, my hubby stays with his parents and brother. But since we are coming, we are thinking of transferring to a new house. Though we are not really 100% sure yet coz we're still checking our financial status. I am suggesting him to just get our own house rather than to rent. He could possibly apply for a loan for this. Would you agree with me?

How long do you plan on staying and how are your finances. Many new expenses come with a house.

If you guys have stable jobs, it surely is not a bad idea to buy a house. You will eventually need to buy one one day. However, it is only my personal opinion. No one knows what will happen tomorrow especially with a economy like this. God the housing is so expansive.

All correctly says, if the work is stable - then you need to of course buy, and if everything is not so simple - then rent.
