My husband is getting reimbursed about $140 for driving to his conference last week. It only cost us about $20 more than he normally would have used. Plus we thought he'd have to go out those 4 days for lunch, but it was part of the training!!!

My debate team has started novice camp, think conditioning for academia. I love getting new kids on the team. I love watching them learn the mechanics of competitive debate. I love those 'ah ha' moments. I have to drive 40 minutes every morning and be there by 8am (hence why I'm posting now at 15 to 7am ... I'm never up this early!), but it's absolutely worth it.

And, I have some fabulous new ideas AND motivation for the business. Sweet. I went to a training last night, and I do believe I may have found what I needed. I have a difficult time in the 'get off your butt and do it' department when I'm not accountable to anyone else. Hopefully I've found away to finally change that.

All the bills are paid, on time. We're basically crap out of luck on anything else, but everyone got paid and that's what makes me happy.
Definition (Webster's 2006) of "MandiK":
A 20something, graduate student, college prof, tree hugging, time managing, coupon addicted, cosmetic selling, dirt worshipping, girl who is in love with Ben and welcomed Sofie Grace on 1/31/11.

Um...hard question. I will have to say that my family is happy and healthy....It seems for DH and I if it weren't for bad luck, we wouldn't have any at all.

We're healthy and employed...yeah, that's about it.
