when my kids are not medicated...
Austin forgot to take his pill Friday morning and I knew it but he swore up and down he took it, but he seemed starnge and was NOT settling down when we dropped him off to school.
So of course I get a call at noon from the principal that he was in the office for wild behavior and they were going to repremand him, and then he tells them he forgot to take him pill..... I swear he is such a different kid when he's not on his meds... luckily the school was very understandable and he didn't get in trouble.

Yes!!! It makes a huge difference when I forget to take my meds too. I can feel it. I feel completely on edge when I don't have them. I can't concentrate for anything. I can't seem to sit still, I even feel tired (weird side effect). I can also tell when my niece and nephew haven't taken theirs and they are over here. They are completely different.

I have the same prob with my 9 yr old he is good about taking it but then there are days that we are in a rush to get to school and he will forget. The last time I remembered went back home to get it and took it to school only to find him in the lunch room eating breakfast whis consisted of chocolate rice krispies and chocolate milk he is not supposed to have that and with the extra sugar prob aint helping is day so I taged a note on his lunch profile to not allow chocolate
Thank you Jaidynsmum for the amazing Siggy

I always keep an extra pill in my purse - this way I can run it to the school if necessary. As he is older now he rarely forgets. But I remember the same kind of phone calls!

I had the principal run after me in the parking lot on Friday. She was shocked by my sons behaviour. We were in such a rush I forgot to give him the meds in the morning. So I now also carry extra meds in my bag.

Yesterday morning I gave him his meds but by yesterday afternoon I was starting to think he didn't take them, on purpose. He was all over the place and out of control. And he ate so much food which he normally doesn't do because the meds affect his appetite. So I stood with him this morning to make sure he took them!
