My oldest daughter has ADHD & ODD. We were just in to see her psychologist on Monday because her aggression has gotten much worse. She used to take her anger out strictly on her younger sister (my middle daughter); however she is now taking it out on other kids at daycare, and even on myself and my husband. I am not condoning her behavior towards her sister, in fact, I have always seen it as a red flag, but the doctors always said it was because she was jealous of the attention her sister got (Alina has many medical concerns). Her psychologist started her on a mood stabilizer, but also mention the possibility of her being admitted to detox her of all of her meds, and start from scratch. While admitted, she would not see anyone that she knows, except for myself and my husband. We are strongly considering this! Just tonight, she was slapping her sister for no reason. When we told her to get changed for bed, she told us no and then smacked my husband on the head with a shoe. I took her to the bathroom with her jammies and told her to stay in there until she was changed. She laid on the floor kicking the door and screaming at me. I feel like such a bad parent because I can't fix her.... and I am worried about the safety of my younger daughters.... she scares me!

The psychologist told me that she is extremely intelligent and she knows it. She uses her intelligence to outwit, and manipulate people into doing what she wants them to do. It has worked on us for far to long, and has gotten out of hand!
