Horizontal on the outside. Very little and hardly visible and its only been 11 months. My OB did fabulous! The incision on the inside(on the uterus), I believe is vertical. Uncertain though.

Vertical, it was an emergency, not even time for and epidural, they were worried he was going to be big, so they cut vertical instead of having to make multiplie cuts when time was so important. He was not breathing and had to be revived so I think they made a good choice for the situation even though I would rather have had the other incision

All 4 horizontal but low cut and about 5 inches long. Very difficult to see the scar, my doctor thinks it is because I rub it everyday to breakup the scar tissue.

Lurking from April 12 PR. The scar is horizontal for mine because my OB was trying to get her out with that type of cut. It was emergency though and it didnt work so she turned it into a low vertical so the incision is vertical.

I also had a horizontal incision and it was an emergency c-section due I was in full blown labor but no matter what the doctors tried, they couldn't get me to dilate pass 4 inches and my son was 2 months premature so needed to be delivered as quickly as possible
