Hi everyone, my name is Samantha and I had to have a c-section with my son Jayden - He will be 3 in Aug - and having a c-section was a hard decision for me because I didn't want to have one at all. But after being in labour for almost 3 days i decided to have one - My body didn't want to dilate past 5cm and every time the doctor checked me Jayden's head kept coming out. They also had to put freezing into my stomach because I could feel my doctor poking me with the knife.. has anyone else had that happen to them?.

Nope, I couldn't feel anything with my c-section. That doesn't sound like a fun experience though

Thank you Vicki for my new siggy!

I had emergency csection and had epidural during labor...only epidural didn't take....since it was emergency csection, there was no time for a spinal...they just juiced up epidural big time....but I still felt EVERYTHING.

I had a botched epidural that ran out as they were sewing up my uterus, it sucked and I had ptsd b/c of it-this time it'll be a spinal and if that doesn't work it'll be a general, I'm not going through that again

Lucky mother to five!

I had a spinal that didn't work with my second section. It was awful.
