Hi i'm new to JM, and had a question for you c/s mama's.

I had my son Matthew by c-section 6 months ago, and just this week, i've noticed two bumps, like pimples, on my scar. They are purplish and pretty sore to the touch. do you guys think it's just an ingrown hair, or could it be something else?

Thanks for any insight.

I wouldn't say that it isn't possible for you to have an ingrown hair, but I've never seen hair grow in scars before, but then again, there's a first time for everything. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

i would say it is ingrown hair, i shave down there, sorry if TMI and i occasionaly get ingrown hairs on and near my scar. i know it hurts but try to pop them and use tweezers to pull the hair out if possible, then i would put some iodine on it to kill anything and to help prevent it from coming back up.
