There are many drug store products out there that emulate professional, but realize that they are 2 different things. They are actually not close at all.

With a professional product (depending on the line) you can pay anywhere from $10-$17 for a bottle of shampoo. Now before you have sticker shock, let's look at the difference between the two.

A professional product is more concentrated, as where the drug store product is more watered down. If you notice with a drug store product, you have to use tons of the shampoo to get it to lather. With a professional product, you only need to use about a quarter size drop of shampoo for shoulder length hair, and if it is not lathering as well, add a little bit of water.

So essentially, you may pay $3 for a bottle of drug store shampoo, but you are going to buy 2-3 bottles of that, as opposed to paying $10-$17 for a bottle that will last you longer than the drug store product.

That's really interesting - I never knew they watered down shampoos!
Cause I know my weakness, know my voice,
Now I believe in grace and choice,
And I know perhaps my heart is farce,
But Iíll be born without a mask

They sure do. I've actually tested this out too, and the professional products do work tons better for that fact.
