Watch his runway show here: YouTube - Calvin Klein - Spring Summer 2011 Full Fashion Show - High Definition

Elle Magazine said:
No matter what the forecasters may say, designer Francisco Costa has only ever been interested in minimalism. By following a season where other designers took on minimalism, he focussed even more intently on his speciality for S/S 2011 - and showed everyone how it's done. The dress was key tp his collection, interpreted in every length and shape, stripped back and becautiful yet still sensuous. A master at work.
Francisco Costa:

Francisco Costa is the creative director of Calvin Klein Collection. Costa won the Council of Fashion Designers America (CFDA) award for best womenswear designer in March 2006 as well as in June 2008. Costa also won the National Design Award in 2009 in the category of Fashion Design. Costa's designs have sometimes estranged longtime Calvin Klein customers. His clothes are lighter and more feminine than those marketed by Calvin Klein previously.

There are lots of peices in this collection I love, the first dress that comes on is a favourite of mine, and I think it's something we will see replicated in high street fashion. I love minimalist clothes, and this is why I like Costa's work so much.

I think he has a real eye for the female figure and form and that his clothes would work on women of many different shapes and sizes.

Cause I know my weakness, know my voice,
Now I believe in grace and choice,
And I know perhaps my heart is farce,
But Iíll be born without a mask

I like the shape and cut of most of those clothes, but I'm not keen on stuff that plain, personally.
