The mother of twins turned the loss of one of her beloved babes into an opportunity to help other children struggling to live. Born three and a half months premature, Leo and Kelley Durant's son, Cameron and daughter, Ressa, fought to survive. Unfortunately, the little girl died of an infection at just three weeks old. But, the postpartum mom continued to pump her breastmilk for the next 17 months and recently made her last final donation to the Mother's Milk Bank of North Texas. In total, Kelley donated 100 gallons in her daughter's name.

Wow! That's awesome! I don't know if I could do that. Mostly I think I would be too self absorbed to think of it. I am so glad there are people like that to inspire us!

I agree. I wish I had a freezer stash to donate, but I gave mine to a friend who was having issues BFing.
