Can you guys tell me, when AF first returns while bf, does it tend to be a bit irregular or do you go right back into your old cycle?

I have been EBF since May, and my first AF started on Sept 18 or 19. I normally have a very reliable 28 day cycle that you could set your watch by, and I ovulate on or around day 14. DH and I dtd the weekend before last, which would have been about three weeks into my cycle, (and well past my fertile days) and the condom slipped off during (unnoticed until it was too late of course). Now by my normal cycle, AF should have started last Friday, but so far no sign of it.

I'm trying to figure out if I'm likely pregnant, or if AF can be irregular while bf. I'm going to give it at least another week before I test, but I was hoping you ladies could offer some insight to whether I should even be worried.

It can take a while after AF returns for it to get back to normal. Several months usually. I'd hold out for a couple more days without worry and if she isn't here in a week, then test. Good luck.
