Hello everyone!

I am going to start lurking in this forum as a newbie!

Lacey was born on April 5, 2009 (she is a little over 2 months). She is BF or bottled fed (but only breastmilk). I just started working again so we are slowly transitioning over to more of a pumping/bottle relationship.

We conceived with Lacey on month #2 of tracking and trying (I did track for a few months before officially trying). We are not yet "trying" for another baby but will be around the August-September timeframe. Currently we are using no method of BC and my period is not in sight.

Is it likely that if I am doing more pumping that BFing that my ovulation will come sooner than just BFing?

Welcome to the board Lindsay!
Jo xxx

Seperated June 2010 from my husband. One daughter DOB 26/07/2006. BFP 06/01/2011, due september but 'high risk' for premature birth.

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Hello Lindsay! I'm Elise (21) and DH is Remy (27). We have 2 kiddos, Eva is nearly 3 and Jayden is nearly 8 months. We are NTNP at the moment too! If we haven't fallen pregnant by January we will TTC officially. I got my first pp AF at around 6.5 months. I breastfed till 7 and a bit months and Jayden has recently stopped I've noticed i'm having alot more fertile cm since too..

Anyway I know of lots of mothers that have their first pp AF/ovulate earlier when pumping. Something to do with the action of the baby's mouth on the breast that suppresses ovulation. I hope you ovulate soon! And welcome to the club
Elise, wife to my darling husband Remy (19/08/06) & Mum to Eva (6), Jayden (4), Lily (2)

Hi Lindsay!

WOW! Good for you for being so ambitious! I think the only coherent thought I had when Cory was 2 mos was how in the heck I was going to get more sleep lol

She's 10 months now and hubby and I have been on the fence with TTC mostly because we were enjoying FINALLY sleeping through the night too much! LOL, but we want another close in age so here we goooooo.......

I got my period back pretty early, around 6 mos or so ...and that was with EBF, so it can happen!!

Nice to meet you!
