Hey ,

I’m amber I’m only 17.. I had my first in December… she’s 6 months old.. Her names kaylee… well I’m breastfeeding… and yes it’s a amazing thing.. I don’t plan on ttc yet.. Maybe next year sometime…..I haven’t got my cycle back yet.. So I get worried about falling pregnant so soon.. The only contraception I’m using is condoms ..
But I do have a few questions for you laddies… that’s if you don’t mind..

** 1** how old are you babies?
**2** how long did it take you to get your cycle back?
**3** have many of you ladies fell pregnant breastfeeding..?

Hi, amber and welcome...I'm CeiCei... hostess of this board and let me just say that you are always welcome to ask questions here...now to answer the questions you have right now

I have two boys...one is the same age as you...well he turns 18 in August and my youngest will be 9 months on July 5th...

When it comes to when I got my cycle back it was right after my 6 week appointment and I usually have it every 23 to 30 days...For most breastfeeding mothers when you start getting AF varies...some are like me where they get it not long after having their babies...others start when the their babies start solids...then there are those who never get it until they stop breastfeeding which could be over a year or more...

I never been pregnant while breastfeeding so I can't answer that last question...at least not yet...hoping sometime soon....

My son is almost 3 (in Sept). I'm due in Aug. He still nurses 2-3 times a day usually.
I got my cycles back when he was 15 months old after he slept through the night ONCE at 14 months old...ONCE. I got pg 2 months later, 4 months later, 2 months later, and 2 months later (thats this pg).
So that adds up to 4 pgs while bfing for me!
