Hi everyone! I am milkmamma to 10 children; 9 here with me and 1 went ahead to glory.
I am so glad to find this board. We are a qf family but I also want many children. It's hard to find others that understand that desire especially when you have as many as I do.
My youngest is 15 months old. With all of my previous postpartum times I have cycled by 2-3 months postpartum even though I demand bf but after 13 long years of prayer I finally was given the chance to experience the lack of cycles due to bf.
The beginning of January some friends from out of town came to visit and where I am normally nursing my 15 month old day and night along with my 3 yr. old during the day, it went to just nursing my 3 yr. old about 3-4 times total in 3 days and my 15 month old just sporadically during the day and then normally at night. I believe this brought on ovulation and then 6 days later my first pp cycle. Now I am waiting to see if they will become regular or if I won't have another one for months again now that our nursing is back to normal. I am not sure if I ovulated as I ran out of ovulation tests but I did have what felt like my previous ovulations on Wednesday which would have been cycle day 25.
Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing from bf? And what helped you conceive while bf? Any tips would be appreciated. This is my longest space since getting married 14 years ago and I enjoy so much having my children closer. I am really wanting to be pregnant again soon.
Thank you for any help and understanding. Blessings!
