How did you do it? I have 3 beautiful girls but have a huge un-measureable desire for just another. DH doesn't want anymore mostly for financial reasons. We aren't wealthy but we do okay for ourselves so I know another would be managable so how do I convince him of this? How do I make him understand my desire for another, how do I make him understand how strong this desire really is?

My hub always looks at things the way men are supposed to I guess, financially, etc. Then I talk more and more about it, how it means so much to me mostly because I love him so much and our babies represent that love lol and he sees that spark in my eye and agrees. I remind him that I am not a material person and of my sacrifices for my babies and he knows they are what truly makes me happy.

Good luck....

Hello, I'm a lurker on this board...I have 4 kids , thought we were done...I've been wanting another now for about a year...My husband said No way, but I think I'm finally wearing him down ha ha...I basically told him that I want another baby, that after 4, I don't see how one more will be any harder since our kids are really so very easy good kids....I told him that WE ARE going to have one more, and we are going to start trying in May...I think deep down he really might of wanted one more, but just didn't admit to it...I guess I don't really have any good advice on how to change his mind...We have never had to "Try" to get pregnant and maybe now that we are getting older it isn't coming as easy to us, so we have to "try" this time...Good lucky and I hope someone else has some great advice for you.

I wish I could just go off of my BC I am thinking I might and just tell dh that if he doesn't want another then he needs to prevent I would probably get my baby alot sooner that way.

I havent had to convince my dh yet, we have always wanted 6. Now that I just had #6 Im thinking I may want one more. Im pretty sure I will have to convince him somehow, I want to wait at least a year though so I have some time to figure that out!
