Ok, for some reason I was up at 6:50 this morning. Not usre what woke me, or how long I was up, but I went ahead and took my temp in case it took me a while to get back to sleep. My temp at 6:50 was 98.11.
I temped again at 8, when I normally temp and get up. Obviously I had not been asleep for 4 hours at that point. At 8 my temp was 98.29.

Which do I keep? The one taken at my regular time but with disrupted sleep, or the one after several hours of sleep but earlier than normal?

ETA: I plugged them both into FF and they both took my crosshairs from solid to dashed. Ugh.

Honestly they aren't too huge of a difference and if both are making your CH's dotted lines vs solid I wouldn't worry too much. I'd record the early temp and mark it at the weird time so it will be an open circle. Or you can mark the higher temp and mark "sleep deprived" so it will give you an open circle. I'd make a note of it just in case later on you want to check back. Either way it is pretty clear you ovulated in my opinion so I'm not sure why its giving you dotted CH's just from that temp? Thats odd to me.

your O date is pretty clear no matter what. Did you go right back to sleep or toss and turn or go pee? if you literally went back to sleep you could use the 2nd but the first will give you open circle if you record the exact time. if it keeps your CHs i wouldnt worry

i think your chs are dotted because you have 'wet' cm after ovulation

I am going to go ahead and use the first one. I don't remember why I woke up, but I think I went to the bathroom (it takes me a while to wake up!). I will note the whole thing though.

Carrie, I agree on the cm thing, I did not think about that changing my crosshairs.

I took out that later patch of cm and my cross hairs went back to normal. I am leaving them out and just putting the cm in the nites, might sound silly, but I like seeing those solid lines!

FF will do crazy things. I added in that I had dipped a opk at 10dpo and it took away all my lines and crosshairs...lol I think FF was confused as to WHY I'd be dipping an OPK at 10dpo! I saw a need for it....lol
