Okay I have a question. I do have a basal body thermometer, but I was wondering how everyone else records their temps based upon the numbers.

Lets say your temp is 97.25

Would you write down that it was 97.3 or 97.2?

So in other words if the second number to the right of the decimal is 5 or greater you would round up, and if less you would leave it the same?

If you can put both decimals I would. Otherwise I might say make sure you do the same thing each time. I've only been doing it for a week though, so I'm no expert.

In the book I read on FAM, Taking Charge of Your Fertility is states it's not necessary for the second digit at all. My BBT actually does only go to the .1 degree.

I would follow general rounding rules, .5 and under round down, or .5 and over round up. Whichever you pick be consistent for each cycle.

I would round up. That is what I do. I just round up or down each time as my BBT goes to the .00 on the thermometer. HTH!
