just lurking around in here.... I guess, just looking to see what kind of tests everyone has done, etc. I go for my physical in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if i should ask to be referred to a specific dr. or just stick with regular ob/gyn. she doesn't seem very proactive, although she did say we can do testing even though I have only had 2 losses. However, I had asked her to check my progesterone after my numbers didn't double...went from 78 to 113, i think...would have to double check my numbers, but close to that. anyways, she said she doubted that was the problem since I have two daughters. but I had them when I was 18 and 22. I mean, i am almost 35, so couldn't low progesterone be a possibility? anyways, just poking around for information so I know what to ask for. We have some time anyways since I don't think we are going to ttc again until next may or so due to an upcoming deployment, but I want to rule any things out beforehand. thanks for listening
*edit*
actually, it looks like we may have decided to ntnp for the first month or two when he comes home, so I really want to try and have any tests i can done right away.....really hoping for some suggestions.

Hmm. I'd definitely have the full blood panels done. Check your thyroid, blood clotting agents, your base hormone levels (to make sure you're not heading into menopause which can affect egg quality).

And I would request a progesterone draw next time you get a positive. I think the magic number that specialists like to see is greater than 20.
