Well...it's a BFP!

I still can't believe it and am in shock. It's so close to my m/c in May but sure enough my symptoms are increasing and the HPT's are getting darker with each passing day. (Yes...I'm still POAS!!!). Comparing the first HPT that I took to Sunday's HPT I can't even believe that I saw a line (it was that faint) but sure enough...it's there now. My D&C was on May 26 and my symptoms completely disappeared within a week and my temp's dropped drastically and I've been charting since then. Not to TTC but to keep an eye on my body and know what's going on. We got the green light to TTC whenever we emotionally felt ready and would you believe I was already pg (and didn't know it) when she said that! We're cautiously optimistic and praying for a healthy full-term baby.

I found the courage to call my doctor and I go next Monday (she's completely booked up this week). I'm okay with that though. I'm still nervous of seeing her because I'm terrified of bad news (since that's all I seem to get from her lately). When I called her office this morning her receptionist asked for my name to book the appoinment and as soon as I told her my name she knew immediatly who I was and you could here some excitement in her voice. It felt nice to here.

We're going to wait until next week to tell our family. Not to think negative, but we want our support system in place. Even though I know I have my symptoms back and countless HPT's indicating that my levels are increasing...until I hear it from the doctor we're not saying anything just yet. I'll probably have an u/s next week to confirm that it's not another ectopic and then we play the waiting game. We've already decided that we don't want a lot of medical intervention this time. It didn't do us any good last time and just made for a long 2 weeks of waiting for inconclusive results so we're going to do the basics once we know it's not ectopic.

We were going to take a TTC break this summer just yet relax and focus on us as a couple, but look at what happens when you don't plan and have a little fun. DH & I are joking that we got a special souvenir from our trip to Cuba. Looks like the vacation was just the thing we needed!

So there you have it. Oh...on a ligher note...I'm due on my 30th Birthday (March 8th)! How's that for a present!!!
