Her career question thread got me wondering.

What do ya'll do for work? If you're a SAHM to your rainbow, what were you doing before you stayed at home?
What would you do if you could pick the best job for you?

I do nothing. I'm a SAHW, but I'm actively looking for a job, and have an interview Friday at a call center (not only does it pay $10 an hour, which is what I'm used to in Canada, but it has great benefits!!!! I neeeeeed this job!). Before I came to the US I worked in retail, and before that I was back and forth between Call Centers and Retail.

Augie might laugh at this, but from about the age of 15 on, I wanted to be a Pediatric Oncologist. I wanted to be the person who's job it was to kick butt against a disease that was taking my friends family members. Even now, knowing the heart ache that is involved, I'd still do it in a heart beat. And if I couldn't be the doctor, I'd want to be the person in the lab trying to find the cure.

Right now I am a SAHM. Before that I worked for an accountant and before that worked in a casino. I go through jobs like underwear, I hate working. I was going to school for criminal justice, I wanted in the heads of psycho paths, still do just seems risky to be around "those" people now.

Now we are at the ppoint where I need to do something, just not sure what.

Growing up I wanted to be a math teacher. I love math and find a lot of people don't understand it.

I am a SAHM with three under 3. My last real job was as a bill collecter for DiscoverCard. I hate working too. I hated someone else thinking they owned my time. Especially trying the raise two special needs boys.

When I was really little I wanted to be a Mermaid, then a jounalist. finally a doctor not oncology. Once I hit college I didn't to be anything thus probably my poor performance.

Right now I am a reservationist at an Adventure resort. I also do breakfast and work in our souvener store. I've already been told that next year if my friend H doesn't take the job that I will be the Kitchen manager. They like the way I do things I guess before this I was a SAHM for almost 7 years. And my dream job is to be a photographer. I would love to do that.
