Busy. I have to go to a party for my extended family on the same day I have to host a party for Dh's family. Gah. As usual, by Christmas day everything will be over, no one will come over & I will breathe a huge sigh of relief. Everything seems to go on early for us.

We were going to announce our preg news on Christmas. So now-- I'll be trying to hold it together keeping the "big secret". I like the previous comment about avoiding babies. I've been doing that for quite some time. Except for the fact that I'm a nurse and I work with newborns...

sheesh, again I didn't even answer my own question.

We are having our usual. Reme will come on Christmas day. I'll make dinner, we'll open presents, wreck the living room with the haul, watch some good movies and then who knows.

We are trying to get him from Christmas Day to New Years Eve. But my DH has no balls and can't just say "Look, we can't abide by the agreement due to school, so I want him from Christmas day to New Years Eve." Instead he walks around the subject. UGH. DH is supposed to have him 50% of the time while DH isn't working. But since Reme's in school, and it interrupts things for him, DH has kind of stepped back. If it was me personally I'd be asking for every weekend and school break, but DH is too nice for that.
