My first loss was natural and we got pg right away, so no cycle. Second loss was via d&c and AF showed up on cd35. Everyone's different though, so hopefully you'll get a good sampling from everyone else.

After my first loss it took about 6 weeks for AF to show up. Then with my 2nd loss I got pg before AF showed up and O'd around 20 days after the D&C. Now I'm on cd 15 and I'm still bleeding from my 3rd m/c and I'm thinking it will take weeks before AF shows up again.

Everybody and each m/c for that matter is different. Good luck with the waiting. I find waiting for the 1st AF a m/c to be the most nerve wrecking and the only time I actually anticipate here and look forward to it.

It's so frustrating. I'm still waiting for my HCG levels to go down, and know AF won't even show up until they reach 0 so I'm really waiting now. I'm still getting blood work done once a week to monitor it. Hopefuly after today's test I'll hear that at least I'm near 0. Did I mention I hate to wait?!?

We had a string going either here or on pregnancy loss about who was waiting for first AF after m/c (I started it), if you want to find it and take a look to see that you're not alone in your frustration.

I'm glad af showed for you finally. After my first 2 mc's af showed up on time (if you count first red blood of hte mc as an "af" day ) My last mc - my af was exactly a week late. It is frustrating to not know when or what to expect. I am glad it looks your wait is over.

Glad the wait is over! Just so you know, my first af after 2nd mc was about 5 weeks. The first one after first af was more like 4 weeks.

i was wondering, what day you counted as day 1 when you began to bleed from your m/c..i started to have a light period type of brown blood on tuesday..i didnt start to pass anything until friday and it was heavy then. i have been counting tuesday as day 1. so that puts me at 5 weeks as of today

I counted first red blood hun. I am not quite sure what you are supposed to count. I hope she comes back for you soon. I hate that this happens after mc - that we have to try & figure out af all over again.
