(aside from having a baby )

I always wanted to have an art showing.....I need to quit saying it & start working harder toward it.

I want to get fluent in Italian. I'm semi conversational now, but I have let it lapse since I got out of college, and with the internet and books there's no excuse!
I'm at the point when I can read well enough to basically understand a newspaper, and it's amazing what you get out of untranslated media. Even movie subtitles, etc. don't give the whole picture.

Updating to add: Inspired by this thread, I got out this Berlitz software that I bought last week to once again try to get on the bandwagon before I forget everything I've learned. I just spent an hour with some Italian woman yelling at me on the computer a bunch of vocabulary words. It's a lot like being back in school.
by the way, I just do not understand why the word for bra is masculine. That makes no sense whatsoever!

Two things for me:

1. Pay off all my bills (OK, the mortgage may take a while, but the (^%^%^(*& credit cards need to go).

2. Finish a big quilt. I've done baby quilts for DS and a thrown together football quilt for DH, but I've never completely finished piecing, layering, quilting, and binding a bed size quilt. I do have lots of tops in progress that I can choose from, though.

This hasn't been a life-long goal or anything, but I've really been dragging my feet on getting into college.. I've filled out my application to a university online, though!!!

But otherwise, I have a bunch of t-shirts and old clothes that hold to many memories to throw away (like ones you get at amusement parks or when you're sightseeing in a different city/state), but just take up lots of space in storage containers.. I had the idea months ago to make a t-shirt quilt, and I just haven't even started it.. It's time to get moving!!

I really want to go back to college. Between the 2 universities I attended and the 45 credits in Korean that I got while in the military, I have almost 100 credit hours. The thing is I don't really know what it is I want to do. All I have ever really wanted was to be a mom. Lately I have been thinking about nursing, but I don't know if my heart is really in it.

Kathryn- I have always wanted to make a quilt as well. Goodness knows I have enough fabric and supplies, I could. I don't know if I have the patience to make one, though.

Beck and Norina...I've told you this in the past... but what I've always wanted to do for myself is learn to meditate. Maybe one day I'll get to that!

Hmmmm . . . that's a tough one.

I've always wanted to be more spiritual. I was baptised at the ripe old age of 26 and joined a church for the first time in my life. Unfortunately, I've not really been an active participant. I would like to become more active in the church community.

Secondly, I've always wanted to get into really good physcial condition. After my loss in August of last year, I decided that I was going to lose my excess weight. I went from 148lbs in August to 120 lbs by the middle of December. I was still quite flabby, though. I'd love to be 110 lbs and really fit, not just thin.

I typically am not one to sit around when I have a goal, but these have been particularly difficult for me.

I also want to become fluent in Spanish. I can speak some conversational Spanish and can understand almost everything said to me but I definitly need work.
I want to own a home that I have kinda designed myself...like one we buy and fix up to our taste (flooring, paint, cabinets, etc) or a brand new one built from out imagination.
I also want to own my own mental health practice/clinic for children.
I want to travel a bit too...Greece and the French Riveria are at the top of my list
Oh did you just say one thing??? LOL! I got carried away!
