I'm so excited that this is a long weekend. I really need the break from work. My MIL is in town for the weekend, a bit unexpectedly, but she's wonderful and DS only gets to see her every 2-4 months. We usually spend Nana time at our house, but may go out to eat occasionally. Should be a nice weekend. Also, the temps finally broke this week, so we're looking at mid to upper 80's instead of 100+ for the holiday weekend. Yipee!!

Enjoy your weekend hun. What a nice welcome it must be to have your MIL spend it with you. Family is great to have around (and it's always a plus when you like your family!)

We're supposed to get rain this weekend (remants from the tropical storm hitting the southeastern coast) so it won't be too nice outside. DH & I are going to see Spamalot in Toronto on Sunday and then we're going out for dinner after the show, and I'm going shopping at IKEA with my sister tomorrow (looking at getting new bookcases and accent pieces for the bedroom that I redecorated last weekend).

DH & I were going to hang around the house tomorrow but he was offered 12 more hours of overtime and with my shopping spree these past few weeks it will come in handy!
Thank you Claire1977 for my adorable siggy

I hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend! As for me, I will be working! Yeah! I'll have Sunday to spend time with my family and we might close our stores on Monday, still not sure. We're going to try to bbq but it looks like we will be getting rain this entire weekend. Regardless, as long as I have my family around, I know this weekend will be a blast

Nicole, let me know how you like the show. My DS and DH want to see it too (both are big Monty Python fans). We usually see a big show in December as a family gift. The last few years it has been the Transiberian Railroad in concert, but I was thinking of something different this year. Spamalot is being performed at the Venetian Hotel on the strip.

As for this weekend....... there is no such thing as a holiday off when you work in a casino. I'll most likely work myself to exhaustion.

I can't say I get time off, since I don't have a job!
My weekend's full, though. Bringing a friend to get a tattoo, going to a distant relative's wedding, driving my sister back to University, and going to a concert/fireworks night with bunches of friends. I'm excited for that much.
I'm just dreading school on Tuesday... senior year! I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it. I'm trying to keep up positive thoughts, though!
needs to make a siggy!!!

I get a long weeked too, so I'm excited. We had all the rain from Ernesto the past few days, so things are looking good! Sorry to hear so many of you have to work.
