She just asked us some questions...did an ultrasound of my uterus and ovaries..she said I had 9 follicles (??) on one egg and 8 on the other...My lining was thick due to just having a miscarriage Sept 15...I have to go back after I get my period so they can do a HSG..then after my I ovulate I have to do a progesterone blood test..to measure my progesterone...I guess in a month I will know more....I guess you can have a septum in your uterus and still give birth to a healthy baby..The RE said she has done c sections where they discover a septum.....its all kind of interesting..I still have one more test to take at the hematologist (blood doctor) regarding clotting..I will do that next week..The good news is that I think that my insurance is going to pay for it!!

Thank you *Kiliki* for my awesome siggy!

Sounds like you're on the fast track now! I'm glad they're working you up so thoroughly. Hopefully they'll figure out what's going on.

My first pg resulted in a healthy baby boy (my 17 year old) then followed by 6 mc then they found my septum so it is true that you can give birth to a healthy baby with a septum. The abnormality in my uterus also caused me to have a retained placenta because the placenta grew in many parts (lobes) so if you have a septum removed that is another thing that has to be carefully monitored when you give birth.

It's so great that you are having these tests done. Good luck!

I am glad it seems to be going so well. I would also (if they haven't asked) be charting. that is an excellent indicator fo what is happening hormonally. Some hormonal tests (such as progesterone) can vary in level throughout hte day & can be affected by many things. Soemtimes a chart shows a better overall look at what is happening hormonally than any one blood test could. I hope you get the answers you need!
