For me, I feel stronger in everything I do because I've survived the hardest moments of my life so far...twice. I'm more confident, less likely to let people walk on me, more likely to stand up for myself or to know when to walk away. I'm looking for what I'm supposed to do with my life next. I know God has more purpose for my life than analyzing healthcare data, just don't yet know what that next step is. I wouldn't have seen that without my losses.
Do not sorrow; the joy of the Lord is your strength." Neh. 8:10

Losing Avery brought me closer to my religion.
I feel like I HAVE to go to Heaven so I can see her again....wierd, I know!

I'm still dealing with a lot of jealousy. It seems like everyone I know has a pregnant person
in their life...and dang-it, it isn't me!!! I take that one "one day at a time" too....

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

I feel like my losses have made me a more emotional person. That's a good and a bad thing. I cry very easily, at things that really shouldn't evoke such emotions.

I also have come to cherish the time that I have with my son much more than I think I ever could have, had I not been through so much.

I keep thinking that I want a new job. I like what I do, but I don't connect with the people as well as I used to, probably because I've changed so much since my losses.
On the plus side, I am more assertive now, and I'm much less likely to let people get away with insensitive comments about miscarriages, infertility, adoption, etc. There's just too much pain involved to let people continue to be clueless.
I also think in general I feel like if I wasn't before my losses, I am now 100%, completely an adult.

I definately see things in a different light now. Pain is something that causes you to grow and change. It's not an easy process and it hurts, but I'm thankful that I've been given the chance to learn more about myself. I see people in a different way now too.

I don't take things or people for granted anymore, and have learned how much of a miracle a child truly is.
Thank you Claire1977 for my adorable siggy
For the special little one in your life!
