Last night in chat we were talking about how cool it would be if we could set up a book swap for books on NCB and other things related to it. Basically, if there is a book you've been wanting to read and someone else here has the book they will mail it to you to read and then you could either send it on to someone else here who wanted to read it or back to the original owner, depending on what they wanted. This would help us to read all the great books out there on NCB without having to buy them all since money is tight for a lot of us. The books could be mailed really cheaply using media mail with the USPS.

What do you ladies think? Would you be interested in participating? Any ideas?

what a cool idea! I don't think I could do it, b/c my library is used so frequently for my clients though.

But it's still neat!

Like I said in chat last night, I'm very interested. I don't own any books yet, but would be happy to buy one to pass around and participate! Since I finished grad school I have much more time on my hands now and would love to start preparing.

*Thank you kiliki for the siggy!*
