The thing he said about the bed when I asked was that it needed to have stirrups and the birth center beds are regular beds without them. When I asked why those were needed and wouldn't it be better for me to be able to have a bigger bed where I can get in difference positions, like being on all fours, he just repeated that he needed stirrups. Doesn't make any sense...

I am SO glad I have a doula!!

Um, if you have a doula , they can push on your feet, and you would not need stirrups. Your doula is going to be your angel. I hope things get moving soon for you. I wish I lived closer to you! LOL.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. The doctor sounds like a real jerk. I hope things get moving soon for you. I'm sending lots of ELVs! I can't wait to hear you prove that jerk wrong!

Noah was over 9lbs (I have a very small frame) and he was all natural.
