Hi all.

I'm Mellie. I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd, a surprise, due October 13. This is the third time I've planned a natural birth and this time, come rain or shine I am going to get it!

I ended up with an epi with my first 26 hours after my water broke and I was induced. My second was an induced labor as baby had a severe heart defect and needed to be born on a day his cardio team was at the hospital. The inducement was a compromise as it had been suggested to do a c-section. I managed to talk them into an induction instead. I call Zac's birth my half natural birth as I made it through with no pain relief.

This time I am booked into a Family Birth Centre. The same one I was originally booked into to have Zac actually but clearly it was not safe for me to have him there. I have lurked here since I got my BFP (in Feb) but have been very paranoid that something is going to happen and I again won't get my natural water birth. All that's left to worry me now is baby position and I am making sure I'm doing whatever I can to ensure baby is head down.

Well, that's me and my long-winded introduction.

Thanks to Claire1979 for the amazing siggy.

Welcome! The ladies are great here! Thats amazing that you had no pains meds with an induction! You are one strong mama! My baby was breech until 32 weeks and I got him to flip by listening to the hypnobabies script! Thats great that you are having your baby in a birth center, I'm totally jealous, there aren't any birth centers on long island. GL and I look forward to reading your birth story and finding out baby's gender too!
