I was avoiding it because I was just too chicken, but I tested and I am NOT pregnant! Whew! Now is just not a good time. Heck, were still paying for Sy's birth. This has me thinking a lot though. I definitely want another and it would be nice to have two pretty close in age. I would be forced to deliver at a hospital this time, not at all excited about that. DH made the comment that it doesn't matter, it's not like it's going to change our lives much anyway (because things already suck). NICE! They should put that one in a hallmark card.

I'm glad the test gave you the answer you wanted!
I'm all for having your babies close together but only if you really feel ready. Not just for the pregnancy and the expense but to have 2 or more little ones running around. Once my new baby is born I will have 3 kids under the age of 3 and I can tell you it is no joke in terms of the amount of work a mom has to do but at the same time I am just in baby love heaven!!!
Fomerly known as 1SonSoFar, now awaiting Baby #3!!!

I'm so glad that things worked out the way you wanted this time. Our boys are 19 months apart and it's really not bad at all.

Aww well yay! I'm glad you got the answer you wanted.

Reicher and this one are *supposed* to be about 23 months apart, but at this rate, they'll be exactly 2 years lol. I am curious to see if this will be easier or harder than the twins were.

I don't want another one until at least 3 years apart, and probably 4 years will work better for us. Don't feel pressured to have another sooner if you don't want to. And don't feel bad about the bill, we are still paying off the copays from my daughter's birth (2+) years later. Luckily I just got a new job so we will be able to pay that off this month and things will be looking up for us now. Sometimes s*** happens and it takes a while to get things sorted out. I hope things improve for your family soon.

it's probably better to wait a little longer anyway, it's hard on the uterus to go through back to back pregnancy that soon. Just try to look at it that way.
