It's a long story, so get ready.

I woke up Thursday with a headache and just felt dizzy and lightheaded. Thursday afternoon I started feeling really sick to my stomach and started having contractions. I took a phenergan and went to bed. Friday I woke up feeling better, but by the afternoon, I was back to feeling bad. I called my doc's office and they wanted me to come in. I went in and had a NST which was just fine. Then I had an u/s. My cervix was 2.6 last Wednesday and not beaking. 10 days later it was 1.9 and beaking. The doc did a fetal fibronectin. Because of the change in my cervix, they sent me over to L&D for observation. I stayed all night and didn't have any more contractions. In the morning, they did another ultrasound and my cervix was 2.2cm.

Long LONG LONG story short, the fetal fibronectin came back positive, which means I have a 40% chance of going into labor in the next 10 days. It's my second positive in 3 weeks. They kept me from Friday afternoon until about 12 today. They wanted to keep me until Monday, but I just wanted to be at home. I go back on Wednesday to my doc and we'll see what he has to say.

The good news is, that since this is the second time in 3 weeks I've had to go to L&D, I decided I really needed to work on my birth plan, so that's the plan for tomorrow.

Forever missing our angel 8.31.07

Big big hugs! I hope Audrey stays in a while longer! I always tell people - and I'm not sure if it's helpful - but I was born at 32 1/2 weeks - and have no problems - was only in NICU for 11 days.
Anyway - I hope you feel better - and keep bakin little one!

Thank you Kiliki for my first beautiful Siggie!
