I'm so excited to say that I've met all three midwives at the birth center and I feel really wonderful about all of them. I've had a lot of really stressful things going on, and a lot of problems with DH the last few days/weeks. It all came to a breaking point last night and we had a huge blowout. I have been having awful cramps since. I called this morning and the midwife on call had me come in to talk and just check me to make sure everything was okay, since I have a history of m/c. The good news is baby is perfect! She gave me some magnesium supplements and said it would help the cramping, and she spent a good 45 minutes talking to me about everything going on. I also got to sit in on their mom's group that meets twice a month. I was able to meet some great ladies and I'm hoping to develop relationships outside of the group with them.

Despite DH being a big jerk right now, today made me feel so good and just made me look even more forward to the rest of our experience with the birth center and midwives!

*Thank you kiliki for the siggy!*

that's great Jen! I hope DH snaps out of it. John was super weird a few times when I was pregnant with Cadie too.
